Magnetics & Controls, Inc. Current Transformer Specialists

Current Transformer Contract Manufacturing

We build current transformers to your design and ship them under your name — quick-turn, made in America, from prototype quantities to production runs of several thousand.

Blind manufacturing

The parts ship under your name. The work is ours.

For more than 40 years, Magnetics & Controls has been the manufacturer behind current transformers that reach the market under other companies' brands. We already blind-manufacture CTs for major national brands under NDA — you may have installed our work without knowing it.

That same capability is open to your business. Whether you're an OEM looking to offload CT production, a panel builder who needs a reliable domestic source, or a brand that wants to stop waiting a year for overseas parts, we build to your print and let you put your name on it.

WHY OEMs CHOOSE US
  • Your brand, your part number
  • Made in the USA — no import wait
  • Prototype to several thousand units
  • Strict confidentiality under NDA
How it works

From your spec to your dock.

A straightforward path from inquiry to delivered, private-labeled current transformers.

1

Send Your Spec

Share a drawing, datasheet, a part to match, or even just an obsolete part number. Our in-house engineering team reviews fit, form, and function.

2

We Quote

We confirm feasibility against our 14,000+ design library and send you a firm quote for your part and volume. Reverse engineering is typically included at no charge; if any exception applies, you are notified up front before work begins.

3

We Build & Private-Label

You place the order and we build to print in the USA — manufactured to your exact specification, private-labeled to your requirements, and shipped on a timeline measured in weeks, not seasons.

Manufacturing range

Built to your spec, across a wide envelope.

If your current transformer falls within these ranges — and most do — we can almost certainly build it to print. If it falls outside them, send it anyway; custom is what we do.

  • Frequency: DC to 25,000 Hz
  • Primary current: 0.1 A to 20,000 A
  • Secondary current: 0.001 A to 10 A
  • Multiple primary & secondary current ranges
  • Accuracy: normally 0.1% to 2.4%
  • Burden to 8000 VA
  • Round, square, rectangular or oval
  • Leads or terminals; varnish-impregnated or fully encapsulated

We design and build to meet ANSI/IEEE C57.13. We are not currently ISO 9001-registered or UL-certified — if your program requires a UL-recognized component or a specific quality registration, tell us up front and we'll be straight with you about whether we're the right fit.

Who we build for

A domestic CT source for teams tired of waiting.

🏭

OEMs & Brands

Offload current-transformer production to a proven domestic partner and put your name on parts built to your exact spec.

Switchgear & Panel Builders

Stop letting a back-ordered CT hold up an entire assembly. Source domestically and keep your builds on schedule.

🔧

Breaker Retrofit & MRO

Obsolete and discontinued CTs reverse-engineered and rebuilt, so a retrofit or repair isn't blocked by an unavailable part.

Let's talk about your next production run.

Send your specification, drawing, or a part to match. We'll review it under NDA and come back quickly with feasibility, volume pricing, and a real timeline.
